[view] About Central VegaranThe Central Vegaran languages are a language family originally hailing from the central plains on the continent of Vegara on the planet Ghēba. Their proto-language is Proto-Central Vegaran, a reconstructed language spoken likely between 119,000-121,0...
[edit] [view] Ghe-sīnaq Ghebāllbakȳra (New Ghibalbian)New Ghibalbian is the descendant of Imperial Ghibalbian spoken in the United Colonies of Earth in the Milky Way Galaxy since AD 2330. Its' grammar is based on a simplification of the Imperial declensional paradigm and a partial retention of its' conjugations, both caused by Green Worlder influence. Its' phonology features a less extensive palatalization than Green Worlder Ghibalbian or Vespan, but more so than Imperial Ghibalbian.
[edit] [view] Vepālakȳra (Old/Imperial Ghibalbian)Imperial Ghibalbian, being the ancestor of both Vespan and New Ghibalbian, was once spoken in much the same area that is occupied by the United Colonies of Earth today. It is the original Ghibalbian language. It features an extremely complex declensional and conjugational system for nominals and verbs, a preponderance of long vowels, a high degree of thematicalization and standardization, and much less palatalization than most of its' descendants.
[edit] [view] Véspakȳra (Vespan)It is the descendant of Imperial Ghibalbian spoken in the Andromeda galaxy in the region of the Delian Spur in Vespalian Federation space. Its' vocabulary is strongly divergent from but comprehensible to New Ghibalbians. Several cases have different functions and there are minor differences in syntax and conjugation, but it is largely comprehensible to New Ghibalbian speakers. The name derives identically from Véspa, a poetic synonym for Vespālia.
