About Hlential
This is a language of the world of the Peninsulae.
Hlential, the language spoken in the core of the powerful Elindian Empire (which controls much of both the north and south coasts of the Central Sea), is notable in many ways. Its phonology and phonotactics allow all consonants to be syllabic, placing no absolute restrictions on series of segmental phonemes. It is consistently head-marking and highly polysynthetic, and features both converbs and switch-reference like the other language in the northwest of the Central Sea.
