About Harpyan Harpyan languages in my conworld are wide dialect continuum spoken in mountain range formerly known as the Harpyan Range but was later renamed by humans to Löar Range as harpies slowly became rather legends. That happened mainly because of raids of the harpy hunters that successfully killed dozens of harpy tribes. This page shows the standardised form of the language of the Cawa and other close tribes in the central Löar mountains; that means the language with the most speakers.

Features (so far, we're very early in development)

- each word has to carry at least one high tone (most particles and morphemes are an exception)
- crazzzzzyyy phonology /s
- nasalized /w/ instead of true nasals
- no cases
- hierarchical alignment (maybe)
- bird form has no lips? idc slap that labialization onto them plosives
- you would expect tone contours from birds but alas i dont want to deal with them
- main inspiration in terms of grammar is navajo i think
