About Ukamayan (old) Ukamayan is another attempt to create a language with a minimalistic phonology, and it's based on Polynesian languages and a little bit of Tagalog and Japanese. The grammar is a collection of features that do not exist in European languages, and it is designed to have a simple but very alien grammar. Despite the name, Ukamayan has nothing to do with Mayan languages.

Some features:
  • Hierachial alignment
  • Hierarchial word order
  • Distinction between primary and secondary object
  • Floats somewhere between analytic and agglutinating
  • Verb conjugation using infixes
  • No distinction between wh-Questions and yes/no-questions

The dictionary is out of date. I'm storing the updated one offline.
