Kyrete is undergoing a reform. As a result much of the information on this page will change. The date above indicates the most frequent update.

Kyrete (/kairite/) is an a priori highly-agglutinative philosophical language. Because of this, Kyrete is different from almost every language you might have book exposed to. Kyrete has a horizontally written fully featured conscript developed after 12 separate revision. A font has been made available. The character of Kyrete's writing system form an abugida.

The language itself is composed of 140 distinct morphemes, made up of consonant-vowel pairs (CV). There are 20 consonants, 5 vowels, and 2 diphthongs. Kyrete's delivery of speech has little to do with tone. Conveying information in Kyrete requires that pronunciation is absolutely correct.

All words in Kyrete are chains of CV pairs, with the exception of morphemes composed of diphthongs. No word in Kyrete is composed to 2 consecutive consonants. Each morpheme represents either a semantic prime, or a grammatical case maker like an honorific or tense suffix. Kyrete's general philosophy is that a sentence should be short, concise, contain few articles, and use as few syllables as possible. It is preferred to have many small sentences rather than one large sentence.
