Deep within the mountains of Ngapathu stands the Mieesa Plateau, a large low-altitude fertile land. Many groups of people call this place their home, including the eastern-based Lesoodho. The majority of these people speak Lesothä, with the closely-related Ymiissishä being spoken by a minority.
