About Lesothä Deep within the mountains of Ngapathu stands the Mieesa Plateau. Despite the seemingly unpleasant atmosphere, many groups of people call this place their home. This includes the Lesoodho, a group of elves who worship the dragon Leso. Lesothä was spoken by these people until all but one were killed in a devastating war. Today only one native speaker exists, with the rest of the speakers being student learners.
Lesothä is an isolating language with agglutinative elements spoken by the Lesoodho ethnostate on the continent of Ragjonja. It is an official language in the Lesoodho territory and a minority language in Ymiissi, Mläye, and Akotidah. It follows a SVO grammar structure, though some historical noun phrases Mieesan’s SOV structure. While its phonology takes inspiration from Finnish and Japanese, the grammar is mostly influenced by Mandarin Chinese. It is a Mieesan language of the Ymi-Leso branch, meaning that it is most closely related to Ymiissithä and more distantly related to Mläye, Minsäme, and Olmokkəś. At the peak of its dominance, it was spoken by at least two million people.
