About Old Hakkan
Old Hakkan is the precursor to Classical Hakkan that eventually would become the first Lingua Franca in Etoe. Old Hakkan is very similar to Classical Hakkan, and vice versa, but there are other features to the language that survive passed the stage of classical development. Such information in sound changes can be seen in Sloy, the survivor and daughter language of classical Hakkan. Old Hakkan ultimately comes from the attested Proto Yeli-Hakkan, a Proto-Language that gives rise to several of the modern languages on the continent of Etoe. Old Hakkan demonstrates features of an agglutinative quality making it somewhat agglutinative in that word compounds can exist but words also have the option of existing freely, making an informal fusional stock that coalesces into itself.
