About Old Regentish
Old Regentish is a language born out of Old Neapolitan spoken in the 15th century. It was spoken from the 16th century through the early 19th century. It developed from the Neapolitan that Giovanni Trentin and his people had brought to the Biverse continent that later would be influenced by the languages and dialects spoken by Sicilian, Tuscan, Roman, and Venetian immigrants that came either with Giovanni or would come later on. There was a lot of literature written in Old Regentish, even though it didn't have a standard way of writing it. The language was known as napoletano emennato ("modified Neapolitan") before the foundation of the village of Reggente ro Sul.
