About Proto-Elysionic
Proto-Elysionic is the earliest common ancestor of the Elysionic family of languages, historically distributed throughout the northern and central continent of Elysion, with sub-families including Yelenic, Farenic, Hezanic, and Sadhaic, along with a few isolate branches like Gezen or Lugashu.
This reconstruction represents the most common dialect of Proto-Elysionic, as of around 4,500 years before the present. While its phonology, morphology, and grammar all take inspiration from the real-world Afroasiatic languages, in particular Ancient Egyptian, it does so with a great deal of poetic license.
