About Suran
Järabinoz!

In the fertile plains beyond the mighty Eastshield mountains; across the woods and hills, canyons and valleys, and the mighty fortresses and citadels that adorn each pass- lies stalwart Sura, an indelible remnant of what the Great Isle once was before the calamity that ravaged it came and left its brutish mark.

The language of the Sura people is a complex one, carrying much prestige along the Isle's east and northern coasts, where most of its speakers live. It is a language of commerce, of academia, of the courts, and of law. Related to the languages of Avurna and of Vrajka, it shares little in common with the Ocraudavian languages of the south- bar the many words it has exported to them.
