About Niwano
Niwan is a language spoken on the Niwan (or Riwan, Hiwan) archipelago, an archipelago in the Pacific Ocean about 1500 kilometers (500 miles) west of Japan. It is spoken by a people of sapients, mostly Sokkinoko, Tiger people and Humans.
The Sokkinoko people have feline features, but some features that aren’t in most anthropomorphic species, like multiple ears in some populations. A lot of people within the population have two different ear types, long and hanging and short and cattish/canine like ears. There are some with a deformity that triggers in 6% of the population in which both types of ears are present, leading to the 4-ear deformity that’s common in certain families. Heterochromia is more common in the population, at a whopping 9.990%.
