Please be aware that pronouns are considered as nouns because they get the same declinations.
[top]Strong pronouns
The strong pronouns are the followings :
- "I" = së - /s/
- "You" = so - /ˈsɤ/
- "He" = su - /ˈsu/
- "She" = gë - /ɟ/
- "It" = eze - /ɛˈθɛ/
- "We" = erë - /ˈɛɾ/
- "You" (pl.) = ero - /ɛˈɾɤ/
- "They" = suri - /ˈsuj/
In most writings (newspaper, novels - except for dialogs...) and situations of formal language, these are the pronouns usually used and declinated. For instance, their genitive expresses the possession.
[top]Weak pronouns
And here are the weak pronouns :
- "I" = ika - /iˈka/
- "You" = ila - /iˈla/
- "He" = isa - /iˈsa/
- "She" = ëgle - /əˈʟ̝ɛ/
- "It" = ez - /ˈɛθ/
- "We" = eiku - /ɛjˈqu/
- "You" (pl.) = eilu - /ɛjˈlu/
- "They" = ura - /uˈɾa/
Those pronouns are used as a termination to a noun, strictly to express possession. They are not declinable and the noun keeps its undeclinated plural form (though adjectives to a possessed noun are declinated with the Oblique case).
For example, here are the both ways to say "my dogs" :
ühsdavëlaon sëozëhn - /yjˈsdaʋəlaɤ̯n ˈsə̯ojð̞n̩/ - dog-DEFDefinite
