A, pronounced /a/ AIO: [○]I, pronounced /ɪ/ AIO: [□]
O, pronounced /ɒ/ AIO: [◊]
These are the basic three vowels on which AIO is based.
That's why the language is called AIO [○□♢].
It is called so because all the AIO letters use these three basic shapes to create themself.
E, pronounced /ɛ/ AIO: [⌼]
U, pronounced /ʌ/ AIO: [⌺]
You can see that these are created using the I + A and the I + O
If you pronounce /ɪ/ as j /j/ you can notice that these combinations may sound like:
IA /jɛ͡h/ thats why its E /ɛ/
Same goes for U, IO /jʌ͡ɒ/
