Menu 1. The MTHL ROOT

The base for most Mathal words is the root, the smallest unit of meaning.
The root 'buun' for example means 'magic'.

These roots appear in eight different themes. Each theme is marked by a final Consonant.

ThemeEnding
feelings
-t
animals (human, fox, elves, etc.)
-k
body parts, family memeber names
-l
plants, spices, fruit and veggies
-p
nature (elements, weather, landscape)
-n
action
-r
made products, tools, clothes, rooms
-m
abstract terms
-s

'magic' is something that is natural in my story world, so it belongs to the nature theme '-n'.
