The Zetaha script (from Kasewayan zėtaha zətaha [zət̪axa] ‘set of lines’) is a writing system used to write several languages spoken upon western Dawera, including all Desanian languages, Nesyanian, Southern Tazuro and more.
Zetaha was invented in early Middle Ages in the Kaseyu Kingdom (modern day Kasewaya) and descends from the Old Desani syllabary. Around the 14th century, it was adapted to write the Nesyanian language, and soon replaced the Tazuro abugida used to write the Southern Tazuro language. The script took its modern form between the 17th and the 18th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, various minority languages, like Keranian, began to be written in extended Zetaha as well.
Technically, Zetaha is an alphabet written left to right. It has no capital letters. Various calligraphy styles can differ a lot from the printed version of the script.
Graphemes
The basic, unmodified version of the Zetaha script contains 31 letters. Some of them are used only in one or two languages.
