About Aligian Aligian is an SOV language spoken in southern Edievia. It is particle-heavy and marks nouns for case (nominative, accusative, dative, genitive, locative, instrumental, plus a topic marker) and number. Verbs do not agree in person or number with any of their objects, but do inflect for polarity, tense, and aspect.

Having developed alongside  Colian and eventually  Edievian, Aligian has taken in many loanwords from the languages as they evolved.
