About Church Retenian
Church Retenian is the liturgical language of the Retenian Church. This is basically fossilized a fossilized Late-Old-Antarian dialect that was spoken in the region of Lurrata in the VII century AD when Antarian language declined as lingua franca in Retenia and was replaced by Medieval Retenian (Nimarran branch), but the Retenian Church prefered to keep this form of Antarian as liturgical language. Since then, the phonology changed a little bit.
