About Yitekel

Yitekel is a Japonic language spoken by around 5,000 people on the island of Palau. Yitekel is an altlang where some Okinawans fled from the Kingdom of Ryukyu during the Japanese invasion of Ryukyu and landed on Palau where they gained strong influence from Palauan. Is also in the same universe as  Formosan Creole.
