About Zimal
The language of the southern nomads (and southern landed folks) in the Western Federation! Something with fossilized spelling, syllabic consonants, /ʍ/, and heavy Bodni-Cirnic influence for a language derived from Proto-Western Vaniuan. It makes up its own branch, not related very closely with other surrounding languages, although ties to Jiuzemic and especially Hitagi have been tried only to be disproven. Pairs with Tamizani as one of only two languages in the world spoken by more tumbleweeds than people.
