About Standard Kwang
Wa Kwan Shì Whaiq
The official language of Qonklaks, Standard Kwang is spoken natively by only around 25 million, but is understood by nearly everyone in the country, with over 80 million nonnative speakers.
Syllable structure is (C)(G)V, where G is a glide in [w,y] and V is a vowel-register-(nasalization) combination. Like its ancestor Middle Kwang, Standard Kwang has four 'registers', which are tone-length-phonation combinations. So although syllable structure is very simple, there are tons of possible syllables due to its rich consonant inventory and the phonetic complexity of vowels.
NEW: Check out the pretty grammar document here!
Meta: Arryog registered the language and suggested an aesthetic, dendana did the sound changes and historical derivation + phonology/grammar and most of the words, Quancius did over a hundred words and made glyphs, clawgrip made glyphs.
The phonology is inspired by Burmese but the grammar is quite a priori.
