Cirtunese may be a language focused on describing ideas, rather than objects. However, that does not mean that the language doesn't have words to address them.
The Cirtunese Vocabulary for objects follows rules that are similar to the ones for ideas. Nonetheless, the difference here is that the character p will be materialising the consonants.
Here are a few examples:
tpo /tʰo/ Bag.
tpe /tʰɛ/ House.
rpe /'ɾɛg/ Machine.
np /pʰa/ Water.
cpi /'sig/ Air.
rpa /'ɾag/ Fire.
nqp /pa/ Earth.
The rules for pronouncing p can vary according to the consonant being altered.
Basic | IPA | Altered | IPA |
t | /ta/ | tp | /tʰa/ |
k | /ka/ | kp | /kʰa/ |
n | /na/ | np | /pʰa/ |
nq | /ma/ | nqp | /pa/ |
c | /sa/ | cp | /'sag/ |
r | /ra/ | rp | /'ɾag/ |
h | /χa/ | hp | /'χag/ |
...I may explain the logic behind the meaning of these words in another lesson, but for now, that'll be all.
Thanks a lot for reading!
