In Ssamaf, every word for an animal has a counterpart role. For example, you'll find that the word for "pig," folfekis, is the same as the word for "comedian." The same goes for the word meaning "dragon/snake/wyvern," somni, and "philospher." Every animal has an association for some human role or profession. This is similar to English, however, as opposed to being focused on an animal's behaviour (ex. the metaphor "to eat like a pig" ~ "be gluttonous"), the Ssamaf association emphasises the role or profession. Dragons, snakes, and wyverns have long bodies that in Ssamaf-speaking cultures "resemble an equally-long thought," akin to that a philosopher would have. ✎ Edit Article ✖ Delete Article
