Greetings!

Classical-Botiq is a work in progress project, a daughter language of  Early-Botiq.

  • Basic word order is VSO, but animate object preceeds inanimate subject. In this case we use case marking and passive voice.

  • Säexin sig dogoviž.
    I am washing the clothes.

    Säexinev ter vüdž sig didüägem.
    The rain washes my face.

  • Subject and object are both marked on the verb. Some word initial and word final consonants might change depending on the affix.

  • Ribiv
    To serve

    Saibiv.
    I serve (it).

    Sanoibiv.
    I serve you.

    Sooibiv.
    I serve him/her.

  • CSB uses a complex system of auxiliaries to mark different moods, and tenses. Sometimes the same word expresses a different tense/mood.

  • Säsir sig divnii.
I am going to the city

    Säsir tisi sig divnii.
I want/would like to go to the city

    Säsiüüz tisi sig divnii.
I will go to the city.

  • Instead of a word like "have", Classical-Botiq uses existential possession.

  • šlür siidž ee xidüüem.
    I have a cow./There is a cow to me.
Sample of Classical-Botiq[view] Se iždäürüüz miifemiž, iždädiigiäür tisi sig so.

If we were flowers, we would worship the sun.
