About Mesyar

    Mesyar

Mesyaår, /mesjaɑr/, is an isolated language from the Mezkan archipealago. It has a simple phonetic inventory and pretty straight forward grammar rules. Mesyar is spoken in Mezka by a population of around 6,680,500 people and there are little to no dialects of this language because of the constant movement of people around islands, which causes them to keep talking the same way.

    Phonology

The phonology of Mesyar is really simple, it consists of 19 consonants and 6 vowels. Every single combination of those phonemes can be made.

    Grammar Basics

Mesyar sentences are based on SVO, the usage of a subject pronoun, such as 'I' or 'They' is optional, e.g - (I) am a boy. The adjective goes always after the noun, there are no exceptions to this rule. Pronouns are conjugated into subject, object, adjective possesive, possesive and reflexive pronouns.
There are three genders present in nouns: feminine, masculine, and neuter. The funny thing is that they don't really make a difference grammatically speaking.
Adjectives take a lot of things into consideration such as, number, person/human/inanimate, visibility, and there is also the 'unknown' when refering to something that doens't provide class or visibility.
Verbs are annoying as they have tons of different declensions depending on the tense (which there are tons of them) and the person speaking.
More information can be found in the grammar article.
